Tattered Rose Bag

These flowers were the product of a rainy weekend 12 months ago, and I have been saving them for a special project.  These bags were being used by some crafty ladies locally with yo-yo flowers, which were nice....but didn't float my boat.  Then the whole 'lightbulb' moment happened and I remembered the flowers I had stashed away!
I have used my 'ever so faithful' Tim Holtz Tattered Rose die, to cut cardstock, felt, tulle, and organza. Then layered the flowers up, and pinned together with a decorative brad.  I have also assembled some of the layers with stamens (from my flower stash) and stitched together.  The completed flowers were glued onto the hessian bags.  Now my girlfriend and I go to retreats together with our albums in our matching bags.

Today a good friend rang me to go for a walk with her and it was just amazing how the fresh air and the veiws of the ocean can make one feel.I feel truely blessed to have the opportunity to be alive and blessed with such a great family and friends.

Scrappin room

My scappin area, I'm lovin' it!

Of course dvd player T.V to help enjoy this place

My $10 bargin

So lucky to have such a understanding husband that knows what keeps me sane. Have had some fun days with my friends and my beautiful daughters since getting this space. The plan is hopefully to start doing classes with friends. Having the room to have six others has been a big new venture that I longed for a long time. Hopefully I can pass something on to others with my passion for scrapbooking.
